Adjective of "cute," the word "kawaii" is a cultural expression in Japan. Knowing the country's culture is a great way to enjoy the Asian island, and Japan is totally kawaiiiiii...

The most controversial is that the original meaning of "kawaii" was a person of "low social class." Still, it turned into a mannerism when the people of the Xogutan period (between 1600 and 1868) used the word to say that women are docile. The expression became a hit even as an eternal "CTRL V," starting in 1970, when high school teens wrote childishly, using complementary drawings resembling today's emoji-emoticons.

For you understand the power of this word, and how the fluffy style influences all of Japan, I will illustrate some examples:
1. It is the soul of the anime and manga. Otakus, western animation fans feel crazy about it.
2. Many girls dress delicately in fashion, expressing shyness and mystery, innocence, and romanticism. This is noticed in the hairstyle of the hair, jewelry, and even perfume.
3. The advertisements in Japan are adorable. Then check out a makeup advertisement from the brand Majolica Majorca.
4. They use mascots even when the subject is serious, such as on signs of streets that indicate reforms and signs indicating danger.

5. There's Hello Kitty shinkansen.

6. Puppies and cats wear adorable clothes.
7. There are special celebrations, like the Pikachu, of Pokémon Go, week (generally in August).
There are bars and restaurants, such as Kawaii Monster Café and Alice in a Labyrinth. In November of 2018, I went to the Kawaii Monster Café for lunch. There, I ate the cutest meal of my whole life: a popcorn shake, which had a delicious taste of movie popcorn - caramel flavor with vanilla; and the colored carbonara pasta I ate with my eyes! Kawaii!

What I find very interesting in this cultural characteristic is to think that the life of the Japanese is not a cinch. They are very hard working! The overwhelming majority live to work and are very competent (omotenashi). And, even with this burden of responsibility, they keep one foot always in their infancy. This is beautiful and brings lightness.
Enjoying the much-deserved vacation in Japan is magical. The country is perfect for relaxing, contemplating, and enjoying the soft and gentle atmosphere from touristic activities.
Come, come and have the most adorable vacation of your life! (I guarantee).
